Privacy policy
The short version
Ten Five Zero collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and it never connects to the internet. We could not see your data even if we wanted to, because there is none to see.
The rest of this page explains that in more detail.
What we collect
Nothing.
The app makes no network calls of any kind. There is no sign-in, no tracking, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifier, and no analytics of any sort. When you use the app, no information leaves your device, and nothing about your usage reaches us.
What stays on your device
The app remembers your settings — the timer duration you chose and your preferred output mode (on screen or vibrate). These are stored in the app's own on-device storage, the same place iOS keeps any app's preferences. They are never transmitted anywhere, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
Haptic feedback and everything shown on screen are generated on your device. Nothing is sent out to produce them.
Apple's role
You download Ten Five Zero from Apple's App Store. Apple processes some data as part of running its store — for example, purchase and download records, and crash logs if you have chosen to share diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings. That processing is done by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us, and we have no control over it. If Apple does pass us an anonymised crash log, it contains technical details about the crash, not information about you.
Your rights under UK GDPR
UK data protection law gives you rights over personal data an organisation holds about you: access, correction, erasure, portability, and others. We support those rights fully, and in our case they are simple to honour — we hold no personal data about you at all, so there is nothing to request, port, correct, or erase.
Because we do not process personal data, no lawful basis for processing is needed; none applies. If you believe we have this wrong, contact us and we will look into it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
The app is safe for anyone to use. Because it collects no data from any user, it collects no data from children either, and no special handling is required.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy — for example, if a future version added an optional online feature — we will update this policy before that version ships and change the date at the top. The current version of this policy always lives at this address.
